Deanship of Student Affairs at the University of Sharjah and the OFUQ ALSALAM ALDUWALI (OSD) in Dubai, headed by Dr. Taghrid Zuhdi Mohamed , a member of the Department of Economic, Social and Sustainable Development Affairs / United Nations, and in the presence of Professor Eid Kanaan, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hesham Abdel Hamid, and a number of professors at the university and supervisors of university housing, organized for the second year in a row the Eid Joy event to spend the first day of Eid Al-Fitr with expatriate students at the University of Sharjah. The first time it was organized last year, and this initiative is considered the first of its kind in the United Arab Emirates, specifically for expatriate students at the University of Sharjah, so that these students feel that they are among their families and loved ones inside the university on the first day of Eid Al-Fitr. In a statement to Dr. Taghrid , she thanked and appreciated everyone’s efforts and added that this activity is for the students of the University of Sharjah, especially the expatriate students inside the university housing, to give the Eid more joy by drawing a smile on their faces, especially since they have not been to their countries for a period of time that is not short, to make them feel that they are here among their families in the United Arab Emirates, the country of goodness and giving under the shadow of the wise leadership
Professor Eid Kanaan, Dean of Student Affairs, thanked the OFUQ ALSALAM ALDUWALI (OSD) Center and said that this initiative will remain engraved in the memory for its beauty, and even when the students return to their countries, they will talk about it for a long time because it expresses the generosity of the morals of the citizens of the United Arab Emirates
