Compassion is tenderness, kindness, and the desire to do good for others. It is a noble quality associated with forgiveness, rain, and sustenance. All religions have emphasized morality and good virtues, urging their cultivation, such as generosity, honesty, trustworthiness, tolerance, and compassion, among other virtues. These virtues bring tranquility and peace to the soul. Scientific studies have demonstrated the positive effects of possessing these qualities on an individual’s health and well-being, and consequently, on their contribution to the society in which they live

Compassion is a noble quality that means kindness, gentleness, and leniency in dealing with all living beings, whether human or animal. All divine messages have urged us to adopt and embody this beautiful quality because of its positive effects on the individual and society as a whole.
