People with disabilities represent a vital and active segment of society, contributing meaningfully to its growth and cohesion. Therefore, awareness and sensitivity in interacting with this group are essential, as an unintentional word or careless action may unintentionally cause emotional harm.
Guided by this human-centered perspective, the OFUQ ALSALAM ALDUWALI (OSD) Center—a member of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs and Sustainable Development of the United Nations—in collaboration with the International Afaaq Al-Salam Academy Chaired by Dr. Taghrid Zuhdi Mohamed has launched a free training course entitled “The Art of Dealing with People with Disabilities.”
The course spans ten days with a total of 50 training hours and forms part of the center’s UN-accredited training packages under the title “The Art of Dealing with People with Disabilities (Ambassador of Safety).” It is delivered under the supervision of internationally accredited trainers, ensuring professional standards and meaningful impact.
